How to instal Kawasaki dirt bike graphics?
When it comes to Kawasaki mx graphics the first thing to do is to make sure you get them from OMX. Secondly make sure you apply them properly. So here’s our tips and tricks to do it the right way.
Preparing surface.
Prepare the surface – This is probably the biggest mistake people make when installing graphic kits for dirt bikes. Even if they have an older bike they just dust off the surface a bit and assume it’s ready to go. It’s not. Even if the bike is straight from the showroom floor there’s still a chance it has greasy fingerprints, dirt and some level of grime on it. So before you do anything else put down your Kawasaki dirt bike graphics kit and go get a bucket of clean water and a soft cloth;
– Wipe down every surface that is going to have a graphic on it. Let it dry completely;
– Mix a mild degreaser like dishwashing liquid with some warm water and then go back over everything in order to remove any trace of grease and grime. Again, let it dry thoroughly;
– If there are any places that previously had a Kawasaki decal and you were unable to completely peel it off, we suggest to remove glue residue with 3M Citrus Cleaner;

Applying graphics.

Easy stuff first.
Installing custom graphics for dirt bikes isn’t as easy as it seems but it doesn’t have to be a nightmare either. The best way to insure success is to start with the easiest pieces. Those would be the ones that are applied to the broadest, flattest surfaces. Hold the Kawasaki Dirt Bike Graphics up to the surface and do a dry run where you practice how you’re going to apply the piece. Typically you’ll be going from your left to your right (opposite if you’re left-handed). When you feel comfortable, peel off the back and give it a go. Keep a close eye on things. If it seems like the graphic is not square to the surface or is bunching up – stop, pull back gently and start over. Once the graphic is in place you can use a squeegee to level out air pockets or small bumps.
Move on to the harder.
By the time you’re done installing the easy parts you’ll have a better feel for the material and should be ready to tackle the tougher pieces. Just take your time and respect the process. If you have some fairly significant creases or bumps and lumps try using a hair dryer to soften the material a bit and then use thumb pressure to smooth things out. Put the dryer on medium and don’t get it too close to the surface.
The gas tank – The gas tank can be tricky because gas fumes can undermine the integrity of the plastic film. So make sure the tank is empty and leave the cap off overnight so any fumes can dissipate completely before you go ahead and apply the Kawasaki Dirt Bike Graphics.
